Rules

 

The 2025 Classical Voice International Vocal Competition welcomes global participants across all geographic regions. Following a single-round format with age-differentiated categories, competitors submit digital audition materials for evaluation by an international jury. This distinguished adjudication panel comprises world-renowned opera conductors, principal artists from major opera houses, and eminent vocal pedagogues.

CATEGORY

 

Category I 16-18 years old

Category II 19-27 years old

Category III over 27 years old

REPERTOIRE

 

The following repertoire has to be prepared for the Classical Voice International Vocal Competition according to different category.

Category I: one art song, within 6 minutes, accept different style and character

Category II: two opera aria, within 12 minutes, accept different style and character

Category III: three opera aria, within 18 minutes, accept different style and character

 

-All submitted repertoire becomes final and irrevocable upon registration closure.

-Performances require mandatory live piano accompaniment (no pre-recorded tracks permitted).

 

APPLICATION DEADLINE

 

All contestant materials must be submitted online before May 30, 2025. The winners will be announced on June 30, 2025.

The jury has the right to decide on the final outcome of the competition. If the work does not meet the standards or benchmarks specified in the competition, the jury has the right to decide to leave the ranking blank, and contestants shall not object.

 

 

 

VIDEO REQUIREMENT

 

Attire Protocol

-Competitors must wear performance-appropriate attire reflecting professional standards for juried competitions.

 

Memorization Mandate

-All repertoire must be performed from memory without sheet music reference.

 

Accompaniment Specifications

-Live piano accompaniment is required throughout the performance.

-The accompanist must be visibly present in frame with the performer.

 

Recording Venue Standards

Select an acoustically appropriate venue such:

-Professional recording studio

-Recital hall

-Treated acoustic space with controlled reverb

 

Technical Parameters

-Record in landscape orientation

-Maintain fixed camera position with full-body framing

 

Post-production Restrictions

-Submissions must be single-take, unedited footage

-Prohibited modifications include:
